Seventy-one more retail stores are reopening in the USA, in addition to four more stores in Canada, including the first stores to open in the provinces of Ontario & Quebec. In addition to the two stores in Pittsburgh that Apple announced yesterday, Today, Apple announced a massive wave of new reopenings across the United States & Canada occurring across this week. Stores in Scotland and Wales will remain closed. In total, 33 retail locations will be reopened. Location □□□□□□□ England & □□ Northern IrelandĪpple announced the reopening of all of its retail stores in England, in addition to one retail location in Northern Ireland on June 15, 2020. One localized outbreak, in Leicester, would also result in a temporary closure of a store in the surrounding area. As waves of Covid-19 infections spread across the US, Apple announced that nearly 50 previously opened stores would temporarily close. ![]() However, as June wore on, it became clear that reopening would not be a 1-way street. Apple also significantly increased the number of stores reopening across the United States and began opening up a majority of its retail locations across the UK. This month saw Apple reopen all their retail locations in Thailand, Belgium, Spain, UAE, France, Turkey, Netherlands, & Singapore, and finish reopening locations across Japan, Italy, Canada, & Sweden. June was an incredibly busy month for Apple retail.
